On this Level 6 direct entry course, you will further develop your understanding of the theory and practice of modern health,ÌýwellbeingÌýand social care. Throughout the course, you will have the opportunities and support needed to develop the core skills you need to excel in the sector. The modules of the course will introduce you to key concepts in leadership and management, social justice, qualityÌýevaluationÌýandÌýevidence-based practice.Ìý
As a healthcare professional, you will need to be ahead of the game with your understanding and critical analysis of key industry topics. For this reason, dedicated modules on challenging evidence and managing quality will ensure your knowledge is current. The practical work and assessments throughout the course focus on what you wouldÌýencounterÌýin the professional world: evaluating service quality, leading teams, navigating social policyÌýandÌýcompleting a capstone project.Ìý

Assessment
You will be assessed in a wide range of ways that test your healthcare knowledge and management skills. These could include presentations, work-related reports, group debates, real-lifeÌýsimulationsÌýand individual capstone projects.Ìý
You willÌýbe requiredÌýto work in your own time to complete research, homeworkÌýtasksÌýor group work. Self-study is vital to your success in this course and lecturers will give you guidance on how best to approach this throughout the study period, including developing critical thinking, reflectiveÌýpracticeÌýandÌýindependent research skills.Ìý
Assessment methods at ½ñÈÕ³Ô¹Ï are reviewed annually and may be updated based on student feedback, to suit content or based on feedback from an External Examiner. An External Examiner is an independent academic expert from an external Higher Education Institution that acts as a safeguard to academic assessment standards.Ìý
